Recently, the 13th bid of the municipal railway airport liaison line, which is invested and constructed by Shanghai Shentie and constructed by Shanghai Construction Engineering, has ushered in new progress in construction. With the cutterhead of the 9-meter-class large shield machine "Jiansheng" slowly starting to rotate, the section from the working shaft of Pudong Airport to the left line of the planned terminal station was successfully completed.
The 13-bid project is located in Zhuqiao Town, Pudong New Area, with a total length of about 5.7 kilometers, including Pudong Airport working shaft, pier underpinning of the south turnaround ramp, interval tunnel and related ancillary projects. Among them, the section from Pudong Airport Station to the planned terminal station is about 3.03 kilometers long, the tunnel is a "V" slope, the tunnel crest is buried to a depth of 12.11 meters to 51 meters, and there are 2 connecting channels. The section was constructed using two 9-meter slurry pressure balance shields.
Under the overall organization and advance deployment of Shanghai Shentie, since the launch of the first shield machine "Jianshun" in the section, the project team has overcome a series of difficulties, while ensuring the smooth progress of "Jianshun", through the reasonable block operation of the existing site layout, the "Jiansheng" components of the "Jiansheng" have been carried out in an orderly manner, and finally the equipment assembly, commissioning and acceptance of the shield machine have been efficiently completed.
In the process of shield tunneling, the project team will conscientiously do a good job in monitoring and analysis, segment assembly and surface monitoring, etc., and take relevant preventive measures in advance for possible risk points, so as to achieve the dual guarantee of construction quality and safety.
At present, the "Jianshun" shield machine has completed the excavation task from Pudong Airport Station to the right line of the airport working shaft, and is advancing through the well to prepare for the subsequent departure from the airport working shaft to the right line of the planned terminal station.
The airport connection line is 68.6 kilometers long, passing through the three administrative regions of Minhang, Xuhui and Pudong New Area, with a total of 9 stations and a maximum speed of 160 kilometers. After the completion of the project, the running time between the two comprehensive transportation hubs of Hongqiao and Pudong can be controlled to about 40 minutes, and the transfer with a number of existing and under-construction rail transit lines will be realized, which will facilitate the travel of citizens and passengers along the line. At the same time, it will further enhance the radiation role of Pudong and Hongqiao comprehensive transportation hubs in the Yangtze River Delta region, serve the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration, and provide strong support for improving Shanghai's global city energy level and core competitiveness, and implementing the national strategy of integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta.
